Today in Geography, as part of their learning on Rivers and Coasts, Form 7 investigated different types and forms of weathering. They enjoyed exploring the school grounds to find evidence of biological, chemical and freeze-thaw weathering, and reported many instances where the weather had shaped and formed its environment, such as tree trunks growing out from the tarmac, and weak acid rain dissolving the cement in walls. A wonderful start to this topic!
