REUBEN'S CYCLING SUCCESS!

Reuben 002

Over half-term, Head Boy, Reuben, cycled over 170 miles virtually to raise money for the Stone Hockey Club.

Reuben set his sights on this goal as he wanted to get more people involved and interested in hockey as he realised it is quite difficult at the moment to train.

Reuben's aim was to cycle from the Stone Hockey Club to London Olympic Hockey Stadium because he knew it would be a real challenge to cycle this far.

He raised a tremendous £910 for Stone Hockey Club, which will be put towards renovations for a new clubhouse.

We are all very proud of Reuben's charitable mission. Reuben said, "My whole body was aching but I also felt a big sense of achievement. It feels really good to be helping my club out."

Mrs Whitby-Samways has also pledged to double the total amount raised - a fantastic and very generous gesture!
