Form 2 had a fabulous day out at the Weaver Hall Museum in Northwich where they met Samuel Pepys and had lots of interactive fun learning more about the Great Fire of London.
My Trip To See Samuel Pepysby Sienna Edwards
(It is not the real Samuel Pepys, it is a person dressing up.)
Firstly, I arrived at school to do some handwriting. Next, my whole class had to get into partners and my partner was Raphaela (whom we call Raphie). After that, we found our places and I found out that Raphie and I were at the front of one aisle of the minibus we were travelling in.
Soon we were at Samuel Pepys' house and we had to take our blazers off and put them on a peg. Then we all sat down whilst Samuel Pepys told us about the Fire of London. When he had talked us through a quarter of the story, he asked Amelia, William, Cameron and I to stand up and show the class which dresses and suits servants used to wear. I had to wear a blue and white lacy dress and a white hat made out of napkins.
After we dressed up, we had a break. After a while, Samuel Pepys finished the story off and we played a game. Once everyone had a go of the game we had lunch.
When all the lunch had disappeared into our stomachs, we went to see Jeremiah who taught us how to make tussy mussy. We also did some acting where I was a person selling ribbons. It was such fun!
Soon it was time to go home.
