PUPILS TAKE PART IN RSPB BIG SCHOOLS' BIRDWATCH 2015

Netball and Bird Watching 021

Preprep, Year 3 and 4 eagerly set off into our grounds to support the RSPB Big Schools' Birdwatch.

With binoculars at the ready they tallied each bird that they saw within one hour. We were amazed with the huge array of birds we have at Yarlet, spotting buzzards, wrens, blue tits, longtail tits, sparrows, great tits, blackbirds, thrushes, seagulls, pigeons and even a woodpecker! The most common bird by far that we saw was the crow, which we saw dozens of! A very enjoyable afternoon.
